With more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector,Azzan Al Abdullatif is a senior executive with extensive expertise acrossportfolio management, finance, commercial operations, mergers and acquisitions,business development, deal structuring and transaction execution.

He currently serves as Chief Growth Officer at OQ, where heis responsible for driving the Group’s growth and advancing its strategicpriorities. Prior to this appointment, he served as Chief Portfolio Officerfrom 2025 to 2026, during which he established the Group’s asset managementfunction and led strategic and transformation initiatives aimed atstrengthening OQ’s portfolio and driving long-term value creation.

Azzan led the delivery of five initial public offerings ofOQ Group portfolio companies on the Muscat Stock Exchange between 2022 and2025, with a combined value at listing exceeding US$5 billion. Thesetransactions form part of a broader career track record encompassing more thanUS$15 billion in aggregate transaction value. His experience also includes keyacquisition and divestment programmes, portfolio optimisation and the deliveryof complex transactions supporting strategic growth.

He combines strategic clarity and disciplined execution todrive sustainable growth and long-term value.

In addition to his executive responsibilities,Azzan serves as Chairman of the Board of OQ Refineries and PetrochemicalIndustries and as a board director of Abraj Energy Services and NamaElectricity Distribution Company.
