Solution
Restore circulation and extend rig life through advanced cementing
Single-trip, fiber-enhanced cementing that restores circulation fast, reduces NPT, and stabilizes the wellbore for safe continuation.
Download the whitepaperThis solution is designed for operators dealing with severe or total losses in depleted or fragile formations, teams facing repeated pill failures, and wells in carbonate or brownfield settings where loss zones are unpredictable. You receive a clear diagnosis of the loss mechanism, a first-time-right treatment plan, and a faster path to restoring circulation with lower NPT and reduced material waste.
Ideal for these well conditions
Severe or total losses in depleted, fragile, or fractured formations
Carbonates with irregular or vugular loss zones
Wells where repeated pill attempts increase cost and delay
Operations requiring tight control of ECD and wellbore stability
How the solution works
Before treatment, loss behaviour is assessed by reviewing the loss rate against ECD and depth, examining cuttings and returns, and comparing the response with lithology or offset wells. This confirms whether the mechanism is matrix, fracture or vugular and guides the selection of the correct remedy.
1. Diagnose before treating
Before treatment, loss behaviour is assessed by reviewing the loss rate against ECD and depth, examining cuttings and returns, and comparing the response with lithology or offset wells. This confirms whether the mechanism is matrix, fracture or vugular and guides the selection of the correct remedy.
2. Select the right blend the first time
Based on the mechanism and aperture size, we match the treatment to downhole conditions:
- engineered fibres with graded calcium carbonate for moderate fractures;
- high-solids bridging pills with a tailored PSD for larger openings;
- resin or cement squeezes only for severe or vugular losses where clearly indicated.
This mechanism-first selection reduces waste and avoids unnecessary escalation.
3. Place through the BHA in a single trip
The fibre-enhanced cement system is pumped directly through the BHA to reach the loss zone accurately without pulling out of hole. Controlled placement improves precision and reduces rig-time exposure.
4. Verify and stabilise
Pit levels, pressure response and hook-load trends are monitored throughout execution. When partial returns appear, pressure is stepped down to allow the seal to stabilise and gain strength.
5. Prevent future re-losses
Mud properties such as viscosity, solids and density are adjusted to prevent ECD spikes that might re-open the loss zone. All treatment details are logged to support better planning for future wells.
A controlled execution model ensures accurate placement, clear verification and complete documentation for future wells.

What our partners gain
Performance improves through faster circulation recovery, fewer treatment attempts and greater post-treatment stability.
Fewer attempts, faster recovery. Mechanism-first selection restores circulation in fewer steps and reduces repeated interventions.
Lower operational and material costs. Accurate treatment selection prevents unnecessary cementing, LCM waste, and excess rig time.
Improved wellbore stability. Rapid, permanent sealing supports well integrity and reduces the risk of differential sticking.
Predictable time and performance. Structured diagnosis and controlled execution deliver consistent, repeatable results across wells and formations.
Frequently asked
Why not cement first?
Cement is effective but can be over-applied. Many loss zones can be resolved more safely and economically with the correct LCM or fibre blend.
Will fibres plug downhole tools?
No. The engineered fibres used in this system are designed to pass through BHA restrictions when mixed and dosed correctly.
