ABRAJ Signs Two Strategic Agreements at OPES 2026 to Advance Digital Workforce Transformation and Women-Led SME Empowerment

ABRAJ Energy Services marked a key milestone during its participation at the Oman Petroleum & Energy Show 2026 (OPES 2026) with the signing of two strategic agreements aimed at advancing digital workforce transformation and strengthening support for women-led entrepreneurship and SMEs in Oman.

As an Official Sponsor and Exhibitor at OPES 2026, held from 18 to 20 May 2026 at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre in Muscat, ABRAJ used the second day of the event to reinforce its role as a national energy services leader focused on innovation, local content development, community impact, and strategic collaboration in support of Oman Vision 2040.

Agreement with OSHRM: Digital Workforce Transformation

During the exhibition, ABRAJ signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Oman Society for Human Resource Management (OSHRM) to support digital transformation and workforce development. The agreement focuses on the adoption of AI-driven human resources solutions and advanced recruitment technologies designed to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen talent management practices, and support the future readiness of Oman’s workforce.

Partnership with “Lahunna” and Launch of the “Siraj” Program

ABRAJ also signed a partnership agreement with the “Lahunna” initiative and launched the “Siraj” program, a community-focused initiative designed to support and empower female entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises in Oman. The agreement reflects ABRAJ’s commitment to sustainable corporate social responsibility programs that create measurable social and economic impact while contributing to a more inclusive national business ecosystem.

Together, the two agreements highlight ABRAJ’s integrated approach to value creation: investing in future-focused capabilities within the workforce while enabling broader participation in Oman’s economic development through support for women entrepreneurs and SMEs.

Local Content and National Value Creation

These initiatives build on ABRAJ’s continued progress in local content development and national value creation. In 2025, the Company achieved a certified ICV score of 28.2%, maintained a 93% Omanisation rate, and recorded approximately USD 125 million in local spend, reflecting its sustained commitment to strengthening the local economy and developing national capabilities.

High-Level Delegation from Sonatrach Group

Coinciding with its OPES 2026 activities, ABRAJ also hosted a high-level delegation from Sonatrach Group, Algeria’s national oil and gas company, headed by the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sonatrach Group, at the Company’s headquarters in Muscat. The visit reflected the continued strategic relationship between both companies and ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation and explore future opportunities across the energy sector.
